  • There are ten million things I hate about these pictures. My arms. My double chin. How wide my hips look. Post partum is a journey. For me personally, I get huge pregnant + then struggle to lose after. When I breastfeed the weight just sticks + I am also crazy hungry. I’m having an internal battle with myself, do I stop giving him my milk so I can diet + get my body back ? Or do I embrace the curves, teenage appetite + appreciate this journey for what it is. The weight will come off, it always does. I will sleep again eventually. But Luke - he will never be this small ever again. I will never get the opportunity to see him smile from my breast while he eats his favorite meal. I will never get the high and holy calling of overnight feedings just the two of us in the quiet of the night. If you are struggling with the scale, if your clothing just doesn’t fit like it used to, know you are not alone - but also be mindful of what your amazing body has accomplished. Let’s throw away Instagrams unrealistic body standards + start focusing more on what God has called us to 🌿#honestmommin #watchthecubsgrow
