sometimes our classroom doesn’t look how you’d expect

I think sometimes there is a misconception that

1. every single homeschooler should have a classroom set up in their home

OR

2. we are sitting down going over lessons for 8 hours

Although yes in the younger years it has definitely helped having a separate

school area,

its not necessary .

Every family does what works best and even within my circle of homeschool Mom friends,

we all do it differently and most importantly we are always changing it.

Today we took advantage of this beautiful day and did Science out in the fresh air while baby brother napped.

We found random objects and made guesses what would float in water and wouldn’t.

The boys of course turned it into a game, which was fine with me.

Most days we finish lessons by mid morning and have the rest of our day left,

which I have grown to love.

By afternoon they are tired and it is much harder to complete our daily assignments.

I  am able to trick them into learning, usually when its outside they don’t catch that Mommy has added Mathematics or Phonics into our play.

I take this homeschool journey day by day,

leaning on Gods unending grace.

So far, so good!

Happy Wednesday Loves !
